Our client is a progressive and fast-growing business. They provide a diverse portfolio of services to their clients. They have several divisions, and the needs of their Business Solutions clients is expanding. This has created a need for a tax preparer in their office.

We are looking for someone who will complement their organization and assist clients with their tax needs year-round.

JOB SUMMARY
You are a skilled Tax Preparer, Enrolled Agent, CPA, or Accountant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, tax preparation, and customer service. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base and grow your expertise in tax-related matters.

DUTIES

Prepare and file individual and business tax returns accurately and timely
Build and maintain relationships with clients; assist with marketing efforts to build client base
Compute taxes overpaid or owed, utilizing appropriate adjustments, deductions and credits
Review business and financial records, such as income statements and documentation of expenditures to accurately prepare tax information
Conduct thorough reviews of financial records to ensure compliance with tax laws
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
Stay updated on tax regulations and changes in the market to offer informed advice
Utilize financial software to facilitate tax preparation processes

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Accounting or related field
Experience in tax preparation
Proven experience in technical accounting, corporate accounting, or public accounting
Strong mathematical skills with a focus on tax calculations
Knowledgeable in GAAP, tax, and cash basis financial statement principles.
Familiarity with tax laws and regulations
Proficiency in financial software applications
Excellent customer service and communication skills
